The actor’s time on General Hospital “meant the world to him,” his manager shared. “He loved playing Scorpio and truly built that character from the ground up. What was meant to be a one-day role turned into something remarkable. He was not only dedicated and talented but also a kind, loyal person who deeply loved his family.”

Rogers brought the character of Scorpio to life on and off throughout a span of 45 years.

We are devastated by the loss of Tristan Rogers,” said General Hospital Executive Producer Frank Valentini. “For more than five decades, Tristan captivated audiences, and Port Charles will never be the same without him — or Robert Scorpio. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and friends. Tristan was a unique talent, and he will be profoundly missed. May he rest in peace.”

He leaves behind his wife, two children, and a grandchild.
